After a PayPal limitation (high-risk path)
A PayPal limitation, hold, or permanent restriction is a risk signal for the next underwriter. The workable path is an honest application file — not a plan to “get around” PayPal.
RetryHub helps with merchant-account placement and underwriting prep; PayFresco is a separate payments + CRM / orchestration product.
PayPal Acceptable Use Policy (cite the source)
PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy covers prohibited activities, including categories around prescription drugs and narcotics among other restricted uses. If your limitation relates to product or AUP issues, read the policy text rather than forum summaries:
PayPal — What is PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy and where can I find it?
Honest underwriting after a limitation — what to bring
- Exact limitation or hold notices (dates, reason codes if given)
- What you sell, intended use, and whether any SKUs changed after the event
- Volume, refund, and chargeback history from PayPal and any other processors
- Entity, beneficial owners, and shipping regions as they actually operate
- Corrective steps already taken (policy pages, fulfillment, support, product removals)
Do not hide prior PayPal outcomes. Prior limitations surface in underwriting and bank review. Misrepresentation is a boarding reason to refuse — not a shortcut.
What this page is not
- Not advice to evade PayPal monitoring or reopen under a straw entity
- Not a promise that a dedicated MID will board after any PayPal event
- Not a claim that changing rails (ACH, crypto, new gateway) erases product or AUP issues
How RetryHub frames the next step
RetryHub is for merchant-account placement and underwriting prep when mainstream processors are not a fit. Applications are free to start on the public site; review timing is commonly described as within 24 hours for many files and up to 72 hours for complex cases. Approval is never guaranteed.
